He went on to work on projects across the world for HBO, VICE and The New York Times, with a particular focus on the Middle East and Latin America. His commitment to humanizing the human cost of conflict earned him a 2021 Peabody Award and a 2025 Emmy Award for his work in Gaza. He was a member of the New York Times team awarded the 2024 Pulitzer Prize for International Reporting.
